Travel, for Louisa, has always been about presence. Not checking boxes, but slowing down enough to notice what can’t be staged. Her first journey to Ecuador and the Galápagos revealed a world still untouched with their raw landscapes and unguarded wildlife, that reshaped how she saw travel. Guided by a local naturalist, Louisa learned that true discovery happens in the spaces between—places that can’t be staged or hurried.
That experience became the foundation for everything that followed: an enduring curiosity about how the smallest choices—where to stay, when to linger, how to move through a city—transform a trip from ordinary to artful.
